Project Grim - Character Sheet #1: Grim

Drawn, inked, coloured and shaded completely in Krita in about 50 hours total. I'm hoping that I can speed up the process in the future as I continue to make more charatcer sheets. This is my first completed concept piece, both to be used as a reference for my personal web comic project, and as an educational piece to learn the digital tools available to me and how use said tools more efficiently.

This piece originally started as a 32k resolution canvas that got downscaled over time as the project went on, and took a greater toll on my machine. Ending up in a 16k resolution and 49 layers in the final file (8k in the png shown here so it could be uploaded).

I have been itching to start on this project since almost 8 years ago, all starting from an original play-by-post forum rollplay that I worked on with a group of online friends till this very day. The character presented here, has stuck with me ever since and has always remained in the back of my mind.
